Contains a cover essay, autobiographical sketches, informant abstracts, and informant's Christmas traditions and celebrations. Includes mistletoe in England, the German Tannenbaum (Christmas tree), Adventkalendar (Advent Calendar), nativity scenes in the home, Austrian Christmas trees, candles in the window, garlands, all sorts of Christmas food like Christmas Log (Yule log), plum pudding in England, Stollen bread and honey biscuits in Germany, roast pig in Argentina, goose in Austria, and Spaghetti in West Pakistan and Christmas gifts exchanges, like lamb in Algeria, money, and the religious aspects of each Christmas, from Christian to Muslim views, and pagan traditions.
