Submitted by BYU student Lindsey Gueller for her Fall 2010 English 392 class for Dr. Eliason. About how gift-giving has become secularized instead of being a part of the religious traditions of Christmas. Contains a cover essay, autobiographical sketch, and informants' interviews about Santa's representation of secular and religious Christmas, how Americans are increasingly secularizing Christmas, things people do on Christmas and why, and memorable Christmas stories.
