About the spiritual purposes of African dance for the African people in modern times. Contains a cover essay, an autobiographical sketch, and Ghanaians' interviews about the dances they perform, perceptions of spirituality and dance, the religious meanings of some dances, the spiritual experiences they draw from dance, and the musician's feelings on the dance and it's spirituality.
