Scope and Contents
Submitted by BYU student Kellie Bowen for her Winter 2011 Introduction to Folklore class for Dr. Eric Eliason. About folklore obtained from students who attended BYU Jerusalem Center and the similarities, as well as the similarities and differences between students and years. Contains an autobiographical sketch, a cover essay, and informants' interviews about the orientation meeting, "Kearl" jokes, covering your clavicle, Aladdin the money-changer, birthday celebrations in the Oasis and getting gelato, the bomb shelter, semester shirts, jumping pictures, the Ramparts walk and ringing the YMCA bell.
