Submitted by BYU student Steven Wait about Mormon campfire ir supernatural stories and what they tell about the culture. Includes a cover essay, autobiographical sketch, and informants' interviews. Interviews contain missionary experiences with Cain, or a hostile spirit, people joking about Cain and Bigfoot (often the two are interrelated), and John the Beloved "sightings" and conversations. Prepared for his Fall 2010 English 392 class for Dr. Eliason.
