The store : occupational family lore / Abigail Burden, 2009
Scope and Contents
Burden collected narratives of family members describing her grandfather's small grocery store. Included are stories of an employee who stole a chocolate bar and ate it in front of a child, a young daughter who accidentally wrote on many important checks, and the grandfather's dislike of the Halloween pumpkin display. The project was written for an English 392 class taught at Brigham Young University in 2009.
