Scope and Contents note

This project is a collection of people's beliefs and knowledge of Pocahontas. The analysis notes that many of the informants were influenced by the Disney version of the Pocahontas story, and how fact and legend are interwoven together. Notes common motifs in the informants beliefs, such as Pocahontas as peacemaker and respector of nature. Items include both informants that have and have not seen Disney version of Pocahontas. 10 items in total. Collected by Emily Marie Hilton, Dr. Rudy's ENGL 392 class, Winter 2008.
