Scope and Contents note

This project is a collection of people's Halloween costumes. The analysis claims that Halloween costumes gives indulgence to inner desires of expressing identity. Also includes a brief history of Halloween costumes, how costumes reflect individual identity, family and friend traditions for Halloween costumes, and how Halloween has become a commercialized affair. Includes a twelve-item collection, including interview questions about the informant's Halloween costumes, including Barbie, scarecrow, baby, fairy, Frankenstein, Ninja Turtle, and others. Also includes printed pictures of various costumes. Collected by Jennifer Peterson, Dr. Rudy's ENGL 392 class, Fall 2008.
