Scope and Contents note
This project is a collection of family songs and how they have influenced families. The analysis claims that family songs have a unifying effect on families, as well as reinforce family values. Also discusses how many family songs are closely connected with memory. The songs collected include: "Skeeters am a Hummin,'" "Two Little Boys," "Gypsy Winds," "Highways are Happy Ways," "That Little Boy of Mine," "When Irish Eyes are Smiling," "Carry On," "Niagara Falls," and "Farmer Boy." Also includes the musical score for most of the items. Collected by Michelle Andelin, Dr. Rudy's ENGL 392 class, Fall 2008.
