Scope and Contents

Curtis collected folklore from two informants one from Venice Italy and one who served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Italy. Included are lore from Southern Italy, Italy in general, and Catholic lore, in each category includes cures for common ailments, ways to remove the evil eye, and traditions with customs. Project was created for English 392 course taught at Brigham Young University in 1975.
