Scope and Contents note

A collection of the family narratives surrounding Horace "Chris" Christensen. Topics for the stories discussed: driving sheep up the Jim Wynn Wood road, driving sheep across ice, how we got our eggs, woodpecker surprise, chicken pox, measles, pet lamb, Toots, MeSee cat, cougars, steel stingers, and cougar barrel. Stories were collected from Chris Christensen during his lifetime and mostly occur in Richfield, Utah. Contained within the project are interviews with Chris's four daughters, 11 photographs printed on paper, and a CD containing the recordings of the stories. Collected by Mark Hamilton, Dr. Deirdre Paulsen's HONRS 300R, Fall 2007. Includes a compact disc.
