Scope and Contents note

This project examines maturing pivotal experiences of various individuals. Analysis paper topics include: "Rites of Passage to Adulthood," "Gleaning: From Story to Person," "Gender Differences," "Small and Simple or Grand and Colossal?" "Further Research," "Methods, Strategies and Weaknesses," "The End of the Beginning?" This 16 item collection contains the following experiences: birth of first child, meeting spouse at BBQ, kindergarten fire drill, first kiss, first hard labor job, a rope swing accident, sharing crayons in kindergarten, moving, raccoon hunting, first homecoming dance, first day of the big job, pranks at the Missionary Training Center, "Truth or Dare" kiss, deceased pet dog, Collected by Kaila Housley, Deirdre Paulsen's ENGL 391 class, Winter 2008.
