Scope and Contents note

Abo explores the memories of 11 friends when asked about their first driving experiences. From these stories, Abo finds three common types of stories including experiences dealing with learning to drive, experiences dealing with those who didn't know they were doing anything wrong while driving, and experiences that include accidents or near accidents. Within each type she draws correlations to gender and analyzes why this is. Created by Candice Abo while enrolled in Jill Terry Rudy's English 391 course during fall semester 2006 at Brigham Young University.
