Behind the image of the black suit and tie : jokes that missionaries play / Elizabeth Campbell, 2005 March 30
Scope and Contents note
Campbell examines the humanistic characteristics of missionaries for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. More particularly, Campbell researches the pranks played by male, full time missionaries on the new "greenie" members of their particular mission. Through the process of collection, Campbell explores the ability of sharing such stories to create a sense of unity and humor among the missionaries. In addition, motivation factors to play such jokes of the so-called greenies are explored. Created by Elizabeth Campbell while enrolled in Jill Rudy's English 392 course during winter semester of 2005.
