Bombshells with bombshells, and other blonde jokes / Erin Hartigan, 2004
Scope and Contents note
Hartigan examines the pop culture movement of "dumb blonde" jokes. She analyzes the origin of the jokes, the gender biases, common trends as well as the similarities and differences of these jokes amongst members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints as well as individuals that are not members of that church. Hartigan also explores the repercussions of such folklore on blonde and non-blonde individuals. Created by Erin Hartigan while enrolled in Jacqueline Thursby's English 356 class during fall semester 2004.
