Scope and Contents note
Young discusses how her project came to be through her friend Carrie Poole. She discusses the forms of folklore present in a nursing home, and the different roles they serve. Young relates personal narratives in three categories; cautionary tales, humorous stories, and uplifting stories. Young's collection comes from Idaho. Created by Emily Young when she was enrolled in Dr. Paulsen's English 391class in winter 2002.
