 Item — Box: 289, Folder: 7
Identifier: FA 1 Item 3204

Scope and Contents note

George evaluates her family's children's folklore in four specific groups in this project: stories, songs, nursery rhymes, and play songs and rhymes. Through each category, she shows how folklore does not only play an important role in her family, it also reflects on societal values as a whole. She concludes her research by emphasizing the importance of understanding her family's children's folklore as a means to not only understand it's significance in the family, but in society as a whole. Created by Kate S. George when she enrolled in Eric Eliason's English 391 class in winter of 2006.
