Scope and Contents note
Discusses food preparation as a part of developing and maintaining family relationships. Explains that marriage is a time for redefining food perceptions and blending two family food backgrounds. Describes that the father's influence on food perceptions in a family is mainly manifest in the mother preparing foods her spouse likes. Discusses differences in weekday, weekend, and Sunday eating habits. Mentions how the family's economic status affects food patterns. Created by Deborah Baker while she was enrolled in Jill Terry Rudy's English 495 class during Fall Semester 2003.
