Scope and Contents note

Thornton analyzes stories of Bigfoot sightings, explaining that these stories are told primarily by people who spend a lot of time outdoors or by motorists. She also discusses a Mormon oikotype of the Bigfoot legend, in which Bigfoot is believed to be Cain from the book of Genesis. Created by Alyssa Thornton while she was enrolled in Eric Eliason's English 391 course during Winter Semester 2005.
