Robbins collects a wide variety of folklore that is used by students at Brigham Young University in order to explain, criticize, or affirm certain practices, values, and facts. She believes that the stories, jokes and legends told by Brigham Young University students functions as release valves and as forms of social control. Created by Brittany Robbins when she was enrolled in Eric Eliason's English 391 course in Winter 2005.
