Scope and Contents note

Contains a transcribed interview of Linda Nash describing her military experiences while serving as a nurse in the U.S. Navy in 1989 and during the Gulf War and the Iraq War. Talks about her decision to join the U.S. Navy and some of the differences between the U.S. Navy and the U.S. Marines. Also talks about her experiences in Aljibald, Saudi Arabia and the different recreational activities that they participated in. Discusses about the treatment of the female soldiers there and the various injuries they had to treat. Talks about life on the U.S.N.S. Comfort, taking care of Iraqi and Saudi patients. Describes how she overcame emotional stress dealing with so many injuries and discusses her experience returning home. Donated to the Nurses at War Project. Dated July 8, 2004.
