Biographical History
Irving Fell (1909-1979) was born in Chicago, and lived his life as a violinist and businessman in Bloomington IN.
Irving married Rose Fell in September 1931. Rose was a professional violinist, and they both passed on their musical enthusiasm to their three children: Roberta, Arthus, and Eleanor. Irving started Fell Iron and Metal Company, while continuing to play violin on the side, and with Rose. In 2002 the Jacobs School of Music created the Rose and Irving Fell violin scholarship.
