Contains photographs, postcards, clippings, letters, and various other writings from William S. Reeves. Also contains hundreds of color slides, with images from trips around the world, family, friends, and shots of military life and aviation in Vietnam, Southeast Asia, Alaska, and other locations. Also includes a stereoscope and a light meter. Materials relate to Reeve's service in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II and in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War and the Vietnam War, his family life throughout his career, and post-retirement. Dated 1936 to 2002.

Biographical / Historical

William Smith Reeve was born May 23, 1915, in Ogden, Utah. He married Ermaleta Idle on June 27, 1940 and graduated from Brigham Young University in the spring of 1941. William served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II and in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War and the Vietnam War. He died October 24, 2001, in Hurricane, Utah.
