Contains an account by Neva Fuentes about her military service as a nurse in the U.S. Navy Reserves during the Iraq War from 2002-2005. Talks about her decision to serve as a nurse in the U.S. Navy Also talks about the different attitudes among soldiers from the east coast and west coast. Discusses how the troops had to prepare for the start of the war, mass casualties, and her feelings of uselessness during the first few weeks. Finally talks about being sent home early and talks about how nice it was to be home again. Donated to the Nurses at War Project. Dated January 12, 2005.
