Missionary Training Center folklore / David Wiseman, 2002 December 11

 Item — Box: 254, Folder: 5
Identifier: FA 1 Item 2764

Scope and Contents note

Collection of stories about the Latter-day Saint Missionary Training Center. As the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints sends missionaries all over the world, it is necessary for the missionaries to receive instruction in doctrine as well as in foreign language. This instruction happens at the Missionary Training Center. Wiseman suggests that many of the stories he collect are about missionaries attempting to entertain themselves, self-expression and hierarchy observances. He finishes by suggesting that the Missionary Training Center is full of tradition. Created by David Wiseman while he was enrolled in Eric Eliason's English 391 class during the winter semester of 2002.
