 Item — Box: 254, Folder: 4
Identifier: FA 1 Item 2763

Scope and Contents note

Collection of photographs of Alan Maynes woodworking projects. Bluhm explains how wood working is a family tradition passed down from generation to generation. She suggests that many of her father's projects brought their family closer as they represented love, trust, affection and dedication. Bluhm concludes that through her father's woodworking he was able to instill the values of conservation, hard work, diligence, money-saving and perfection in his children. Created by Sally Maynes Bluhm while she was enrolled in Eric Eliason's English 391 class during the winter semester of 2003.
