Material contains several photographs of Thales A. Derrick during his tour of duty in Vietnam, and a concise biographical sheet. Also contains a personal history titled "The Voice of the Spirit at 500 Knots!" detailing a combat experience in which he protected a downed pilot until a rescue helicopter arrived. Includes the transcription of an oral interview with Derrick concerning the mission described above, and a newspaper clipping concerning the same. Contains "The Airman" which is the official magazine of the U.S. Air Force. Dated 1966, approximately 1996, approximately 2003.
