General note

Caption on item: "Fibre nail containers are placed on pallets for removal by lift trucks to storage areas in the Nail Mill of Columbia Steel Company’s Pittsburg, Calif., Plant. Willie Britz is shown removing a fibre box of nails from a conveyor table to a pallet as the lift truck operator, Lawrence Jones, looks on. The fibre boxes permit much easier palletizing, and take up much less storage space than their predecessor, the wooden nail keg. The boxes are marked on the side with the United States Steel insignia and the type and amount of content."
