Material contains several memoirs relating different wartime experiences of Gerald Scott Coleman. "Sickness and Healing by the Elders" is a memoir in which Coleman is healed from dysentery by the power of the priesthood. In "LZ Billie" Coleman relates fighting the VietCong in a landing zone. In "Captured VC--Night Raid" Coleman gives his experience being caught in a raid from the VietCong. In "Six Rockets" Coleman relates that six friendly rockets were launched on their position by mistake. "D Company Rescue" Coleman recounts a rescue mission for a sister company conducted by his company. In "RTO Royce" Coleman writes about a radio telephone operator in his company. Included are photocopied photographs of Coleman, his unit patch, Vietnamese money, and a historical map of South East Asia. Dated after 1968.
