Material contains a transcribed interview with an anonymous man ("Face") regarding his service in the Army's Intelligence Organization in the Vietnam War conducted by Albert Winkler. He explains how he gained his knowledge of Southeast Asia and how he learned Thai from previously living in the area. He talks about the Reconnaissance missions he went on in Laos and the danger that was involved with being on a patrol in enemy territory. He shares a traumatic experience he had when he was ambushed and had to kill enemy soldiers in close combat. Dated March 2, 2000.
