Orson F. Whitney poetry, untitled and A-B, approximately 1888-1904
Scope and Contents
Materials include poetry written by Orson F. Whitney. There are copies of poems and speeches that are heavily annotated in pencil or charcoal. The poems appear to have been compiled by Whitney after the publication of "Poetical Writings" in December 1889. Some of the poems are compiled in sections labeled in parts, with explanatory notes before the poems. The poems themselves are about religion, history, and nature. Arranged alphabetically with undated materials at the beginning. Dated approximately 1888-1904.
