Materials contain a letter written by Cloetta Perry about her husband Marvin Stewart Perry's military service in the U.S. Coast Guard during World War II from April-December 1942. Handwritten account by his wife talks about marrying him on the day he received his induction notice into the Coast Guard and talks about his duties along the coast near Seattle, Washington. Also talks about the wonderful example of his mother and his mission president. Talks about his various career experiences after the war, his family, and his activities in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints until his death in 1998. Also includes a photocopied photograph of Marvin in his Coast Guard uniform. Also includes a card giving his line of Priesthood authority. Dated approximately 2001.
