Materials contain the military history of Charles Schofield in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II as a flight engineer. Describes his last flight before coming home having his plane shot down and crashing into the ocean, spending more than week at sea, drifting to an island and being taken prisoner by the Japanese. Also describes his work in a copper smelting plant. Dated approximately 2001.
