Materials contain papers relating to Roy Spencer Bond's service in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II. Military records briefly discusses the different areas in the Pacific where he was stationed before and after the bombing of Pearl Harbor. Mentions that he was a ground crewman on planes, and was stationed at Guadalcanal. His group shot down Japanese General Yamamoto’s bomber. Includes photocopied photos of Roy in uniform. Also includes his obituary from the newspaper. Dated approximately 1942, 2002.
