Scope and Contents
Handwritten and signed letter, dated 1902, and addressed to Barton O. Alesworth of Fort Collins, Colorado. Aspinwall states that "I do not feel that an obscure author like myself is entitled to a place in your Stand book of Recent American Literature," since she has only written "two books."
Also included is the envelope in which the letter was sent.
