Materials contain a biography describing Russell S. Schow's activities in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II, his correspondence with his family and church, and personal feelings towards war. Includes a letter from his bishop and Latter-day Saint Apostle, John A. Widtsoe. Also contains a letter from Schow to church members he had met in Canada during his missionary service. Includes a newspaper article citing Schow's opportunity to meet his brother in India. Photographs show him in full military dress and leading a religious sermon. Dated approximately 1942-1943, 2001.
