Materials contain papers relating to Charles Stanley Bascom's service in the Royal Canadian Air Force, 413th squadron, from 1943-1944 during World War II. Contains family and military correspondence mostly between London and Ceylon concerning Bascom's death, one photograph and several photocopied ones, a patriarchal blessing (1934), and photocopies of papers and clippings concerning Bascom's death. Also contains copy of marriage certificate to his wife Jean. Dated 1934, 1944-1945, January 15, 1984.
