Scope and Contents
Materials include a letter written by Vernie C. Swenson about his service as a navigator aboard a B-24 Bomber in the military in the U.S. Army Air Force during World War II from 1943-1946. Writes of two experiences, one in November 1945 when he and his crew flew through a violent and powerful thunderhead (given December 20, 2000); the second, flying with faulty equipment but being guided by the Spirit (given January 19, 2001). Contains two copies of his responses to the Saints at War Information Sheet. Dated 2000-2001.
