Charles Swenson papers, 1944-2000
Scope and Contents
Materials include papers of Charles Swenson regarding his service as a clerk in the 10th Army Headquarters of the U.S. Army during World War II and a Latter-day Saint conference in Okinawa. File contains copies of newspaper clippings from the church news, a photograph, a letter, and a program. Also included are two handwritten letters from Swenson to creators of the Saints at War project relating a few experiences and feelings from the war. Relates a story of the taking of an island in the Pacific where a man was raised from the dead by the power of the priesthood. Dated 1944 to 2000.
