Scope and Contents

Materials contain a biography of Nephi Anderson regarding his service during World War II as a radio technician in New Guinea. Contains a brief letter written by Anderson's sister describing his decision to enlist and his training in Hawaii. Discusses an experience where he, because of a spiritual prompting, was able to spot an enemy spy and gain knowledge of an imminent attack. Also discusses combat experiences for which Anderson was decorated for bravery. Also includes a two-page memoir regarding the military service of his younger brother, Garner Anderson. Dated approximately 2000.
