Scope and Contents

Contains the military history of Eugene Dale Ross in which describes his involvement in the liberation of Manila, Philippines and other engagements in the Pacific theater during World War II. Contains a poem titled "The Starfish". Also contains photocopied photographs of medals, unit patches, certificates, and other accommodations Ross received from his military service. File contents were compiled by Ross's grandchildren, Dane and Lauren Ross. Contains a biography of Ross written by his son James. Dated 1943 to 2017, bulk 1943-1946.
