Materials contain a transcribed interview and corresponding audiocassette of DeMar B. Perkins regarding his service in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II. Talks about being drafted into the U.S. Army and training in the Cavalry before transferring to the Army Air Corps. Talks about his training as a gunner, learning to fly P-39s and P-40s, and courting and marrying Helen from the Women's Air Corps. Dated August 16, 2003.
