Materials contain excerpts from Lynn M. Dewey's personal history regarding his service in the U.S. Army during World War II. Excerpts were compiled by his wife, Elva Cheney Dewey, in 2003. Dewey describes battles in the Philippines, freeing American prisoners of war, being injured by the blast of a mortar shell, and working with the 102nd Forest Engineers Battalion. Dated 1943-2003.
