Item is a copy of a photograph of Broadway landing by the Appomattox River taken by Andrew J. Russell between approximately 1861 and 1865. The photograph shows ships in the Chesapeake Bay and houses and cannons on the bank. A note on the back identifies the location. On the back is a stamp indicating that it was reproduced from the National Archives and that the call number is 111-B-384.
