Scope and Contents
Materials contain a book compiled by Terry Christensen, daughter of Clinton Berg Jensen, a journal of Clinton Berg Jensen regarding his service in the U.S. Army Infantry during World War II with portions of the journal transcribed by Christensen in 2001; copies of letters and journal entries that Jensen wrote during the war which describe his service in Australia, amphibious landings, combat in New Guinea, his church involvement during the war, and World War II memories of his brother, Dean Reuben Jensen, who served in the Air Force in Europe; letters written by Dean Reuben Jensen and his sister, Wanda Jensen Nielsen, during the war; excerpts from the World War I journal of their uncle, Lorenzo Anton Berg; copied photographs; a computer disk with the journals of Jensen and his brother and uncle; and a service album for Clinton Berg Jensen. Materials dated approximately 1944 and approximately 2002.
