Scope and Contents note
Material contains papers relating to Atwood's service during World War II. Includes a compact disc. There are photocopies of handwritten letters from Atwood to his family, newpaper articles, photographs, and certificates. The photographs portray Atwood and his class at Engineer camouflage school, Atwood in England with his unit, the 94th bomb group, Atwood in uniform, last bombing mission in Varrelbusch, Germany. The origianls that were copied dated 1942-1946 and the CD dates approximately 2002.
