Material contains the Latter-day Saints in the Military survey and the transcription of an interview with Stanley George Smith detailing his service in the U.S. Army Air Corps. He describes his 20th mission in which his plane was shot down and he and the rest of crew had to jump from the aircraft. Describes his time spent in a prisoner-of-war camp and being rescued by Patton's Third Army as they marched to Berlin. Dated 2000-2002.
