Materials contain the memoir of Donald Ward Petersen regarding his service in the U.S. Army Air Corps in World War II from 1942-1945. Account describes training, combat experiences, as well as the experience of being shot down and taken prisoner of war in Germany. Discusses his experiences in the POW camp and liberation.
