Materials contain papers relating to Sam H. Wyrouck's service as a ball-turret gunner in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II from 1943-1945. This file contains an interview conducted by Dr. Robert Freeman, of Brigham Young University, which details most of the specifics of Wyrouck's service. It speaks of his enlisting, training, and many of his thirty-five combat missions he flew over Germany during the war. He has also included many experiences written into short stories which give added detail to his military life. His wife is also present for the interview and shares some of her experiences as a nurse in the Army Nurse Cadet Corps. Includes photocopied newspaper articles, typewritten memoir, duplicate photograph, letters, and typewritten interview. Dated approximately 2000.
