BYU cheer squad folklore / Angie Tam, 1999
Scope and Contents note
Tam collected folklore pertaining to the cheer leading squad at Brigham Young University. Included are stories of a spiritual walk at Timp Lodge emphasizing the importance of integrity and trust, a girl falling from a formation, and making all the new cheerleaders jump into the gymnastics foam pit from a second story balcony. The paper was written for Dr. Eliason's English 392 class taught at Brigham Young University in 1999.
